Breast Fat Transfer or Autologous Fat Transfer is getting increasingly popular as it is seen as a more natural option to increasing breast size rather than implants. Technology and technique has brought fat transfer well and truly into it’s own and it is now a seriously attractive option for those women wanting natural feeling and looking breasts while removing fat from other areas of their body at the same time. [Dr Gavin Sandercoe](https://www.plasticsurgeryhub.com.au/psh-directory/plastic-surgeons/mr-gavin-sandercoe/) was one of Australia’s first plastic surgeons to see the merits of fat transfer and we chat to him about why he’s such a fan.

Sagging or deflated breasts? Flabby, loose tummy and skin? Pregnancy and having children are wonderous experiences, but they can leave you feeling a little less than gorgeous in the aftermath. We women often sacrifice our appearance to create these beautiful little beings, but there comes a time where we come out of the baby haze and start to want our bodies back. Mummy Makeover is the term given to any group of surgical procedures for mothers to regain their bodies after pregnancy, childbirth and breastfeeding. Specialist Plastic Surgeon [Dr Ross Farhadieh](http://www.panthea.com.au/mr-ross-farhadieh/) performs many mummy makeovers through his practice Panthea Clinics located in Sydney and Canberra and talks to us about why you might be thinking “This is the year for my mummy makeover”.

If you’ve got some stubborn fat, one of the best ways to get rid of it is liposuction. There are some great non-surgical devices on the market now, but they can only do so much, and they also require several treatments, more depending on how much fat you want to get rid of. [Dr Jeremy Hunt](https://www.plasticsurgeryhub.com.au/psh-directory/plastic-surgeons/mr-jeremy-hunt/), Plastic Surgeon from Edgecliff in Sydney has performed hundreds of [liposuction](https://www.plasticsurgeryhub.com.au/procedure/liposuction-lipoplasty/) procedures and says it is one of his most popular surgeries so with his help we put together an A-Z on liposuction.

New to the market, TLC (Total Lifestyle Credit) are here, and I’m pretty excited by it. Sometimes we need to have procedures done and can’t afford them. Well TLC can help us with options. I know myself I had back surgery last year which set me back almost $30,000 (YES IT’S TRUE!) and without options such as TLC, I could still be walking around with 9/10 pain if I couldn’t get access to funds to have this life changing surgery. Today, Tim chats with me about [options that are available to patients](https://www.plasticsurgeryhub.com.au/finance-plastic-surgery-loans/) in a variety of health areas that might be needed.

A tummy tuck, otherwise known as an abdominoplasty, is a procedure most often undertaken by women after having children, or after massive weight loss. While nose surgery is one of the more popular cosmetic and plastic surgery procedures, it is also the trickiest to get right. It has the largest number of revision surgeries out of any other plastic surgery. Rhinoplasty is an art form in itself and is important to get right not just because of aesthetic reasons but because of the functional aspect too – breathing is kind of important, right?! [Dr George Marcells](https://www.plasticsurgeryhub.com.au/psh-directory/cosmetic-practitioners-clinics/dr-george-marcells/) is considered a rhinoplasty master internationally by his colleagues and is the surgeon other surgeons go to. Often referred to as “turkey neck”, the technical term for a neck lift is platysmaplasty, which originates from the title for the muscles on each side of the neck that extend from the should all the way up to the corner of your mouth. As we age these muscles loosen and combined with excess skin and fat that also tends to store around the neck and jowls area, especially after weight fluctuations, it can contribute to saggy skin and a double chin resulting in an ageing appearance that won’t fix itself not matter how much diet and exercise we do. We had a chat with [Dr. George Marcells](https://www.plasticsurgeryhub.com.au/psh-directory/cosmetic-practitioners-clinics/dr-george-marcells/), one of Sydney’s most popular Facial plastic surgeons about why he prefers the Deep Plane Face and Neck (DPFN) lift which also extends to incorporate the browline.
